Róisín Tree is a creative name for the multidisciplinary artist from Sligo Ireland, Ròisín MacNamee. She works in many areas such as digital photographic collage, sculptural installation, community art projects and traditional hand painted signs as She Rose Signs.

Exploring Connections between Worlds… A welcome from the Artist

My main areas of focus are that of bridging worlds, that of the modern and traditional, the real and the imaginary, the seen and the unseen. Often my work explores methods of communication between the plant and human world and how this can expand consciousness and bring each world closer. Through this exploration, I look at mythology and folklore of the land of Ireland. It is through this work I seek to form a deeper bond with my own homeland of Sligo.
